Help is available in-person across the Commonwealth and on the phone (24/7). All Virginia-based assisters have completed rigorous training courses and passed certification requirements. You can work with assisters on everything: from learning about your health plan options to how to use your new coverage. Your information always is kept confidential. And -- the assisters do not charge you for their services.

Navigators are another type of application assister to help you shop for and enroll in health care coverage. Three groups of navigators serve Virginia: Boat People SOS serves Northern Virginia; Wellmont Foundation serves Southwest Virginia; and ENROLL Virginia! through the Virginia Poverty Law Center serves the entire state.
