FAMIS, in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Education, announces the 18th Annual Back-To-School Campaign.
This year, every public school student in Virginia will be receiving a [PDF] FAMIS Back-To-School Flyer during the first week of school. Over 1.3 million flyers were shipped to more than 1,830 schools across the Commonwealth. In addition, school nutrition directors included FAMIS information in letters to families who participate in the School Lunch Program.
[PDF] We'd like your help! You can be a key partner in our Back-To-School Campaign. Help spread the word about FAMIS by distributing flyers at your school, church, or community event. Tell your neighbors, friends, and family about all the great services FAMIS covers, such as well checkups, doctor visits, vaccinations, dental care, prescriptions, and more!
Applying for FAMIS should be something on every parent's Back-to-School list. Help us get all eligible children the coverage they need! You can apply at any time.
